BP Boycott!!

Horrid! The oil-soaked birds from the BP oil leak saga might be put to sleep instead of getting cleaned cos German biologists were saying that their suvival rate is less than 1% and actually suggested euthanizing them instead! Click here to read the full article...

And BP CEO Tony Hayward has just made himself the common enemy #1 with his condescending remarks that showed no respect to human lives and I doubt he feels any remorse about the oil spill and the havoc it has caused...he said

"We're sorry for the massive disruption it's caused to their lives," Hayward said."There's no one who wants this thing over more than I do, I'd like my life back"
WTF? 11 people died at the oil rig and the gulf coast population's lives were wrecked and he actually said he'd like is life back!? What a twat! Not to mention he insisted that all the oil is on the surface and there's no plume despite submarine travelled 400 feet down the sea, saw the oil and came back to the surface totally black! Click here to read about more of the rubbish ridiculous shit Hayward said!

Again, another proof that the human race is a bloody disgrace....

I say BOYCOTT BP!!!!

i dunno about boycotting since i can't even think of anything i use from bp in the first place but i'm super disgusted that this is still ongoing after more than a month. i cannot believe that BP cannot contain the spill speedily; any other company can say that, but this is BP lor, who you kidding, they've been creaming so much profits for the last godknowshowmany years and u can't fix this with money? s.u.r.e. -hl

Yes, they're damn disgusting. I also don't believe they can't fix it earlier but what the twat Hayward said really pisses me off...how dare he?! I won't be surprised if he gets murdered by some hate group or something....

lolx, had to comment something since i am ex-BP...
I have to agree that Tony's callous remarks were completely insensitive and got thoroughly blasted in the press for the typical brit aristro-cratic upper lip BS (no offence to ur BB)...
However, i have been following the articles closely and plugging it really isnt as simple as it looks.
Costing like US$20-30m a day to clean up etc, it's also in their best interests to plug it asap.(already $1.4bn so far not including the litigations) The backlash will cost them US$30-40bn, paltry few years of profits.
Indefensible and unfortunate. One doesnt see Obama flare up so often! Nothing to boycott in SG cos they have already sold off their petrol kiosks. :P

Hmmm...okay granted that the plugging's not easy but they're asking for it for people to bloody hate them when that stupid Hayward was so careless with his words. Zero EQ twat.

The havoc it wrecked is really such a sorry sight...sigh...super heart pain when I see the birds all soaked in oil and lives getting affected easily...the last thing he should do was to say shit stuff....

i'm sure it's not easy to plug the spill but i am so angry about this, i'm not really accepting BP's explanation about it. i just want to see it plugged, period. -hl

The pictures of those oil-drenched pelicans/birds etc is really such a sorry sight; there are the dead fish (BP included) and the massive damage to the existing coastline n ecological system of Louisiana (if i remember)etc ......
There is still the investigation to come thereafter; God forbid if they find out the explosion was due to "cost cutting"; then the shit will really hit the roof.
HL, i hear you, in US where many livelihoods are threatened are equally furious as is the whole world - why is BIG OIL who is fantastic at making exorbitant profits and lobbying Capital Hill suddenly so inefficient and ineffective at this clean up? Simply boggles the mind... and it goes unanswered..
Then comes Tony putting his foot in his mouth to his detriment.
Ce LaVie.
