Imedeen Update!

Okay, Botox is expensive and I'm afraid of having my face looks like a flatscreen tv without facial expression ala Nicole Kidman...So instead of Botox, I pop Imedeen...Botox can wait! For another 3 or 4 years perhaps.... And I've been taking Imedeen for about 3 weeks now and the verdict is...it works! Here're my observations:
  • Skin got clearer and more evenly toned. I use less makeup these days
  • Small zits recover really quickly
  • Zit marks disappear real quick too! Normally, it'll take about 2 weeks for any zit marks to go away but then I had two small zit marks that went away in about 4 days....good!
  • I haven't got much fine lines so can't really comment but I think it seems to have soothed out the laugh line a bit, but then again, it might be due to my using a new powder...so that remains inconclusive
  • Skin does look more hydrated....
So far so good and it's worth its stinky rotten crab smell (I don't touch the tablet cos it'll make your fingers smell, so I pop open the blister pack on my mouth)....and looks like I'll continue with it....maybe I'll update again after another month or so....hmmm.......not bad at all...

Are you sure you need that stuff? You look so young lah. Can easily pass off as mid 20s lah. Anyway, keep me updated on that stuff. Wahahaha...

Hello. Just wanna check where did you get it from, I mean, from Watson or so or the Imedeen outlet itself? Also which one are you taking?

@aya_leng, erm...only can pass of as mid 20s ah? Not 18?? Kidding...but prevention prevention! cheaper than Botox and less painful!

@Amanda, I got it from Watsons. I got the Watsons card so I can accumulate points and all cos I'm a bit of a cheapo haha...and I first started with the yellow one which I later realized is for age 35 and above. So I scaled down after finishing it and now I'm taking the pink one for radiance which is for 25 and above...but haha, give it a couple more years and I'll have to switch back to yellow one! BUT I must say I somehow feel the yellow one works better. Dunno if it's psychological or if it's becos it's got more of that active ingredient thing OR it might just be the initial improvement upon taking supplement. I think I'll stick to the current one though

Thanks B :) I think I will give it a try. Do you take collegen supplement too? I have heard different stories. Some say it's very effective but some articles say it doesn't really work.

Hi Amanda, I tried collagen drink before and I used to drink Tense Up from Fancl. I would say it's not bad but I don't know if it's psychological or not cos I wouldn't say the effect was tremendous or anything like that. I'd rather invest in Imedeen cos it works for me. But I do have friends who swear by Fancl though...Thing is, I think the best way to keep your face youthful is for the skin to produce enough collagen and not so much drink it in. So I think the best way is still a combination of diet (lots of fish and vitamin C!), skin care routine and UV protection (no.1 of skin aging and collagen loss)...But think you should try if you're keen to see if collagen works for you. It's very tasty actually, the Fancl one!!! Hahaha...
